Thanks Steven. This work on hesychasm is dearly needed for us layman. We need people like you 'translate' this foreign language into something more comprehensible. May The Lord help us to become in proficient in ‘Doing' and move on from just thinking and writing about it. Thank you also for the link to the book. Can't wait to read it.
Beyond thinking and even “doing” prayer, we must ultimately come to live our life as prayer - to be prayer. Only this is to truly pray without ceasing. Then our whole life becomes worship and a living manifestation of the glory of God’s unconditional love. Then the commandments are no longer prescriptive but descriptive. Then all the virtues and the fruits of the Spirit are not something we do - they are who we truly are. This is the whole point of our life. This is the actualization of the image into likeness. This is salvation. This is not something we must do in seclusion, but rather someone we must be in communion with everyone and everything around us.

Thank you, Steven.
I hope your seclusion goes well, and also, perhaps selfishly on my part, does not last too long! I look forward to your next piece.
This one was special.
Thank you! Very kind of you to say so.
